Exposed: The Life and Thoughts of a Home School Graduate

Preface of Exposed: The Life and Thoughts of a Home School Graduate by Felicia Alvarez ©2009

God gives each of us an opportunity to share. The blind man in the ninth chapter of John received the opportunity to speak in front of the Sanhedrin and he took the opportunity with boldness. The Lord placed on my heart to share of His grace and work in my life through the pages of this book. This was a huge step of faith. I, in my own ability, was not capable of taking on such a task. I am not an English major, just an average  journal -loving girl. Putting my life on paper was a huge and at times frightening undertaking. The Lord said in Jeremiah 1:7 “Do not say ‘I am a child.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you.” God used Jeremiah, who felt inadequate, so I guess He can use a little Southern California girl just as well.  Neither was I at first willing to put so much of my own life and thoughts down on paper for an audience of strangers to critique. It was a sacrifice of much of my privacy. Yet, how could I even consider refusing, for it is not my life, but Christ’s. How could I, for my own comfort and ease, not share what God desires for me to share? Therefore, I welcome you to take a step into my life with all its slips and turns. My prayer is that you are edified through the pages and close this book rejoicing in God’s grace and faithfulness
